After you’ve been charged with driving, boating, snowmobiling or hunting under the influence of alcohol or drugs, it’s important for you to retain a attorney experienced in DWI defense as soon as possible.

Some of your friends may advise you to represent yourself in court, or to retain a “cheap” attorney who does not concentrate their practice on the criminal defense of DWI cases. There are other, “hidden” DWI penalties such as limitations on travel to Canada and other foreign counties.
